In this video tutorial, Chrissy Sykes (author of the My Body is My Body program) covers the objective of the first song called, “My Body is My Body.” She provides tips for helping children understand where their private parts are and ground rules for when it is and is not okay for someone to touch them there. Chrissy also explains the “no secrets” rule and how to prepare kids if someone tries to take inappropriate pictures of them. She encourages those leading the program to be positive and active during the song to reinforce that it is okay to talk about this subject.
